are equipped with
a monitoring device called MACguard (Metered Automatic
Cartridge). This Built in patented device is the
ultimate in protection as it measures the amount of
water your unit has filtered and will shut down the
system when 1850 litters has been used, which could be
about a year's worth of drinking water for an average
family of four. So with MACguard you can be absolutely
sure that you'll never drink a drop of unfiltered water
again. The patented system uses clean filtered Reverse Osmosis water to clean itself - thus the membrane rests in RO water - resulting in the only 10-year warranty available for a membrane - when used with a kinetico softener. Note: The K5 system requires a minimum 35psi feed water pressure. |
